Common Issues Encountered with RedotPay Accounts

When attempting to link a phone number to your RedotPay account, the system may indicate “Phone number already exists.” This restriction exists because each phone number can only be associated with one RedotPay account, and cannot be shared among multiple accounts.

To modify or unlink the phone number or email associated with your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the RedotPay app.
  2. Navigate to the “Account” section.
  3. Access “Security” settings and select “Phone/Email.”
  4. Choose “Unlink” or “Update Phone/Email” as required, and complete the verification steps as prompted by the system.

Regarding account lockouts, if you enter an incorrect login password five times consecutively, your account will be temporarily locked. You will receive an email notification, and the account will automatically unlock after 24 hours. Despite the lock, you can continue to use associated cards for transactions.

Please keep in mind:

  • Accounts with purchased cards cannot unlink their phone number or email.
  • For security reasons, modifying security settings will disable withdrawal and internal transfer functions for 24 hours. Additionally, transactions using the card will be limited to $1000 USD per transaction.
